Loss Adjuster

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking to hire a Loss Adjuster for one of our partners.
This position requires regular travel within Egypt and potentially in the Middle East.
**Responsibilities**:
Manages assigned claims while meeting company standards and quality, including:
- Inspecting claims sites;
- Conducting thorough investigations;
- Determining coverage and validity of claims for indemnification under the applicable legal regulations and the insurance contract;
- Interviewing and communicating with Insurers and Brokers, as well as with Insured, claimants, and witnesses, public authorities and external contracted partners;
- Ensuring the collection of all relevant documentation and pieces of evidence necessary for a comprehensive assessment of the claim;
- Determining the amount of indemnification reserve and the amount of indemnification in accordance with legal applicable regulations and the insurance contract; and
- Preparing reports and negotiating settlements as instructed by Top Management.
- Manages pre-risk visits and draft pre-risk reports.
- Give guidance to the Insured to take action to protect undamaged or partially damaged property and other action in order to mitigate or contain the loss.
- Give guidance to the Insured to take action to protect property which may be subsequently disposed of as salvage. Promptly notifies salvage to Insurers and arranges salvage tenders in accordance with Insurer’s requirements and the Company’s procedures.
- Provides guidelines to the Insured as to the processing and preparation of claim documentation.
- Follows up technical issues with Insurers and Brokers.
- Prepares Immediate Advice, Preliminary, Interim, Final and Addendum reports accurately and efficiently within the time frames and standards required by the Company.
- Responds promptly and correctly to all written and verbal communications from the Insured’s and Insurer’s / Broker’s representatives within the timeframe and ethical standards set by the Company.
- Documents progress of the claim in the claim files and any claim handling system which must be kept current within the timeframe set by the Company.
- Prepares adjustment of claim submissions in a professional and ethical manner within the timeframe required by the Company.
- Completes timesheets on files, expense recovery reports and other administrative duties as required by the Company within the set timeframe.
**Requirements**:
- Civil / Mechanical Engineers or other relevant engineering discipline with 3-5 years work experience
- Experience in insurance claims or existing Loss Adjusters is a nice to have
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in written/spoken Arabic and English is essential
- Analytic mindset and good math skills
- Detail-oriented
- Good interpersonal skills
