IT Operations

**Aufgaben**:
**Main Objective
The main objective of the IT Infrastructure & Operations Specialist (Outsourced) is to ensure the Implementation of the IT Services in accordance to the IT Strategy at the location, consultation of the location regarding all the IT questions, drive the implementation of IT Solutions to achieve harmonized business processes in line with business strategies,and ensure adherence to all relevant legal and statutory requirements.

**IT Strategy**:

- Assisting in the Design of Local IT Strategy in accordance with the policy and strategy set by headquarter and the region.
- Consolidation and prioritization of business requirements together with local business and the region.
- Consultation and support of business partners to scope business needs.
- Aligning with the needs of the local business units; monitoring and improvement of the efficiency of the local IT Organization.
- Planning, negotiation, management, utilisation and controlling of the IT Budget.

**IT Landscape and Methods:
**- Development and Optimization of the local business processes, function, data and technology working models and processes.
- Implementation of system development methods to ensure a harmonized and efficient IT.

**IT Operations**:

- Planning, building and running relevant network and servers’ infrastructure for the company leveraging the Mercedes-Benz global teams.
- Implementation and monitoring IT Operation (Infrastructure, Applications) as per agreed Service Level Agreements.
- Ensure that local business requirements are implemented in a cost-effective manner by suitably leveraging on central, regional and local services.
- Management and implementation relevant mainstream technology elements.

**IT Projects & Governance**:

- Execution, monitoring and tracking of IT projects in accordance to the ITM Project Management Methodology.
- Ensure of IT projects adhere to Cost, Time and Quality Targets.

**IT Vendor Management:
Manage of contracts with external partners to ensure a cost-effective service and support model in line with expected Service level Agreements.

**IT Security**:

- Development, Implementation and enforcement of IT Security and Data Protection methods, policies and concepts handling the responsibility of Local Information Security Officer deputy (LISO deputy).
- Enforcement and monitoring of compliance with government laws and company regulations.

**Software & Hardware Licensing and Registering**:
**Incident Management**:

- Handling the incidents in the infrastructure part supporting both internal employees and external retail users in addition to the role of Major Incident and Security Incident Management.

**Qualifikationen**:
**Educational Background**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/IT or any similar degree.

**Technical Knowledge**:

- 1-2 Years of Experience in the IT Field
- Clear Business knowledge with ability of problem analysis and problem solving
- Expert in IT infrastructure and systems design is a must.
- Information Security Knowledge is preferable.
