This role is to contribute to the financial planning and analysis of our commercial finance function. Reporting into the Commercial Finance Lead you'll be utilising your technical accounting skills as well as other developed skills in work distribution and prioritisation, people management, coaching, training, and problem solving. You will need to be able to influence key stakeholders particularly within finance Bupa Egypt and the wider finance team based in the UK.

**Accountabilities**:

- Handle the ongoing maintenance of accounts and journal entries.
- Record fixed assets additions, disposals, depreciation and related reconciliation.
- Analyse cost centre charges.
- Compiling and presenting reports, budgets, business plans, commentaries.
- Analysing business plans, patterns, and trends.
- Ensure payroll entries are accurate and records are maintained.
- Reconcile accounts including bank, receivable and payable.
- Review expenses submitted by employees.
- Keep track of incoming payments from accounts receivable and outgoing payments from accounts payable.

**What you'll bring**:

- 2 to 3 years of experience in accounting, mainly in A/P, A/R, fixed assets.
- Strong accounting, mainly business impact on balance sheet and P&L figures.
- Holding a bachelor's degree in accounting from a reputable university with minimum grade Good.
- Ability to deal with large volume of data, create models and alternative scenarios presentation.
- Knowledge of general ledger and financial software (PeopleSoft ) helpful
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills are required with emphasis on achieving results and successful outcomes.
- Highly focused, and detailed oriented with strong organizational, time management and prioritizing skills.
- The ability to maintain good working relationships with the finance team and group functions.
- The ability to build effective working relationships with people across different cultures and environments.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word and Power Point
- Demonstrating ownership and accountability.
- Fluent written and spoken skills in both English and Arabic
