**What you will learn and contribute to**

Technical Manager (TM) is responsible for all the technical management activities associated with the implementation of the project as described in the Technical Solution Description and Statement of Work documents. TM should be familiar with Cloud concepts in the context of charging.

Role requires following the AIM Waterfall or AIM Agile methodology process as described (and agreed) in the project management plan. TM will also act as primary technical interface and first escalation point within the Customer project.

**What is expected from you?**:
Technical Manager (TM) is responsible for all the technical management activities associated with the implementation of the project as described in the Technical Solution Description and Statement of Work documents. TM should be familiar with Cloud concepts in the context of charging.

**Your skills and experience**

**You have**:

- Working knowledge and experience in Mobile Charging domain
- Ability to engage closely with customer teams to support design & development of solutions fulfilling customer’s needs
- Support development of detailed customer solution design & architecture with reference to SW specification and related implementation
- Able to demonstrate strong sense of ownership
- Ensure smooth field deployment and System Integration for GSD supplied components

**It would be nice if you also had**:

- Manages the Work Package process, decides which package to be delivered by which function
- Ensuring the project collateral stored in Project repository is complete and up to date
- Arranging and facilitating the sales to delivery handover
- Engaging periodically with the demand planning process for resource planning
- Completing project assessment post pre-sales handover and summarizing the outcomes for the project team
- Liaising with the project support (Care) contact pre and post project completion
- Assist the project manager in generating the project management plan in-line with the agreed methodology for the project
- Proposing the use of best practices and reusables for the project
- Adopting the DevOps blueprints that are available for the product(s) being implemented
- Initiating the project with the Customer and facilitating the steerco
- Completing the AIM Gates (paying attention to those that align with milestone payments)
- Identifying Customer value creation
- Managing technical aspect of change requests along with project live
- Project technical coordination
- Support handover
- Project closure with the PM

**Qualifications/Skills**:

- Degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications from a reputed institution.
- Knowledge of IT architectures, procedures, and methods.
- Strong understanding of Mobile networks (3G, 4G, 5G).
- Exposure and Experience in Wireless/Wireline telecom domain standards.
- Experience in designing scalable and redundant solutions.
- Experience in estimations.
- Soft skills: Proactive communication with customers, good oral, and written English.
- Expertise in Cloud based deployments
- Expertise in Billing/Charging
- Experience in customer workshops, requirement gathering & documentation
- Prior experience of project life cycle - creation of HLD, LLD, Work packages
- Prior working experience in Database/SQL
- REST API’s, SOAP and JMS queues knowledge
- Knowledge of network management concepts, protocols & modelling
- Knowledge of QoS, KPI Reports/dashboard shall be an added Advantage
- Knowledge of Diameter using AVPs
- Should be familiar with ACE Automate and JIRA
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
