As an Application Developer, you will lead IBM into the future by translating system requirements into the design and development of customized systems in an agile environment. Your Role and Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities include coding signed off designs into working web page templates in HTML5, CSS and JavaScript. The role will also necessitate providing estimates for tasks and timescales. This is a unique opportunity for a bright, ambitious and hardworking individual.

**Responsibilities**:

- Reviewing design mockups and providing feedback to designers on the usability of the product
- Developing features to enhance the user experience.
- Creating cross browser compatible websites that work well on mobile devices
- Building reusable code for future use.
- Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.
- Debugging code using debugging tools such as Firebug or Chrome inspector

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
- Knowledge of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design.
- Understanding of SEO principles.

- Good problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
