**Purpose and Accountabilities**:
The Site Operations Lead (SOL) is responsible for all IT Operations on their site(s). They deliver a consistent business focused approach through site IT Operations to unlock business value and respond to change with agility and speed. The role benefits from standardized ways of working while recognizing and supporting functional differences. It is accountable towards the business for IT services delivery on site aligned with agreed business requirements. The SOL must build and manage trust-based relations with site leadership and business IT representatives, and is responsible for the site integrity and services, acting as the business representative for problem, request and change management process. They are end-to-end accountable for the IT infrastructure operations of site(s), including the delivery of day-to-day site level infrastructure services to the agreed SLAs. The SOL is the day-to-day service integrator to ensure site(s) IT infrastructure landscape remain compliant.
- IT Site Operations Lead (SOL) is accountable for ensuring secure, reliable, and affordable IT services and operations services for their site(s), with the prime goal of business value delivery.
- Maintaining appropriate relationships with key business stakeholders whilst still being able to constructively challenge on one hand, on the other hand representing site towards the wider IDSO and IRM communities, providing back business short
- and long-term demand.
- The SOL is responsible for the integrated communication of operational performance and infrastructure project delivery reporting for business and IT stakeholders
- Accountable for and takes an active role managing priorities for On Site Support service and other local IT support activities
- Collaborating and managing local on-site contractors to deliver quality services on site
- Proactive monitoring of IT service delivery and capacity
- Building IT demand plans together with the business and owning control over the site operational IT budget, tracking and monitoring IT spend against agreed with the business budget and LE.
- Site IT representative and escalation point coordinating IT infrastructure project delivery ensuring alignment of deployments across various global IT projects/services that impact site(s).
- Act as the sign off point for infrastructure changes on the site
- Supporting the IT project team for various project activities and ensures most effective way of delivery (that includes extra support that improves outcome and reduces costs)
- Accountable for site IT HSSE, DR (Disaster recovery) and where applicable BCP (Business Continuity Plan) IT elements. Ensures HSSE rules are respected by internal and external IT teams and partners on site(s) (Goal Zero) Ensuring contractors are meeting all HSSE requirements and storing related evidence
- Accountable for site Information Risk Management (IRM) compliance and actively driving remediation of local vulnerabilities and non-compliance.
- Escalating site IT problems and business impact to IT Service Managers / IT Partners
- Communicating to the business new Consumer IT services ensuring buy in and actual usage
- Ensuring regulatory and compliance controls are embedded in site operations modus operandi.
- Promoting Continuous Improvement culture within own scope of accountability, i.e. Service Improvements, Ways of Working, Cost reduction, Capacity Mgmt.
- Escalating serious service incidents that threaten business continuity with LOI and Service Managers. Ensuring initiation of Major Incidents as required and driving site related incident and problem resolution.
- SOL is the business focal point for change management, including communications on infrastructure matters, and for major incident and problem management.
- Actively work with Service Managers and Vendors to ensure MPRs (Major Problem Review) are completed and then share results with relevant stakeholders.
- Supporting any restructuring activities from IT perspective including mass on-boarding, Transfer and Off-boarding

**Special Challenges**:

- Strong ownership that ensures proactive and further active involvement in all projects that have IT infrastructure/operations element.
- Should have an excellent grounding in IT infrastructure solutions, operations, particularly in the network space. Also show strong knowledge in related areas such as IT Service Management.
- Strong dotted line to local natural team (e.g. Real Estate/HSSE/Asset Protection) supporting all aspects of site(s) operations.
- SOL is the local go-to person on site(s) for data related to IDSO services including: Volumes, Rates, Financial and contractual data.
- Participate in the 24x7 rota of the global SOL community. This includes being on-call during 2 or 3 weekends a year.
