**Envision Employment Solutions** is currently looking for a **Data Architect/Data Modeler **or one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.

**Job Summary**:
**This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.
**Responsibilities**:

- **Understanding of the Engineering world**:

- Bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams, translating engineering requirements into effective data management strategies.
- **
Data Modeling and Architecture**:

- Demonstrate proficiency in creating complex data models and optimizing data structures for performance and scalability.
- Familiarity with CFIHOS and ISO for Oil & Gas engineering data standards and operations activities for standardizing and harmonizing data attributes across the organization.
- Execute comprehensive data mapping exercises to ensure seamless integration across systems.
- Develop and maintain a robust metadata management framework for tracking data lineage and dependencies.
- Conduct analysis to identify data requirements, business rules, and relationships.

Collaboration**:

- Work closely with cross-functional teams to align data architecture with business objectives.
- Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders to implement effective data solutions.
- **
Quality Check and Reports**:

- Conduct various quality checks on correspondence between data model and collected data.
- Design, create and implement robust, user-friendly, and efficient reports and metrics in presentation, table, or dashboard views.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data models, data mapping, and class-attribute architecture, ensure that documentation is accessible and understandable for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect (Data Modeler) or similar role in a complex data environment within the Oil & Gas or Energy industry.
- Familiarity with CFIHOS and ISO standards for oil & gas engineering data.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Expertise in OSDU data structure and mapping.
- Aveva ISM or SPF (Smart Plan Foundation) authoring tools administration, setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Knowledges in the creation of interactive reports and dashboards (Excel, Power Point, Power BI).
- Skills in data collection, quality assurance, and cleaning.
