**About this opportunity**

We are looking for a Solution Architect, who will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and developing commercially viable end-to-end technical solutions for the customers. In this role, you will be accountable for providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed technical offering, solutions, and proposals.

This role will be part of Solution Area BSS (Business Support System) in Market Area Middle east and Africa, especially charging system.

This requires extensive telecom and BSS business knowledge to be able to drive customer dialogues to grow the business and to maintain solution delivery, drives solution definition, design and implementation. He is expected to engage the customers with a consultative approach identifying their business needs, areas of improvement and come out with a solution approach to address the above.

**What you will do**
- Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas and share information about solution to enable customer competence build
- Responsible for BSS Solutions/Products Pre-Sales & Delivery
- Responsible for scope, defining and designing solution offerings; driving end to end technical solutions
- Analyze customer technology, define business requirements, and participate in risk analysis
- Develop technical presentations and proposals, and perform customer presentations
- Assume CSR (customer solution responsible) role or Solution Architect within Sales & Delivery Life cycle of projects/programs
- Define and handle Solutions offerings, including standard Ericsson BSS Portfolio and qualified 3PP (Third Party Publishing) solutions/services partners.
- Lead respective Domain and Technology Integration Solution Architects within Sales and Delivery cycles
- Manage opportunities pipeline for charging system Solutions.
- Customer Escalation point for Solution respective manners.
- Participate in knowledge transfer, documentation and information sharing

**You will bring**
- Minimum B.Sc. Degree in related disciplines with 6 or more years of relevant experience in telecom/IT information systems consulting, pre-sales and solution implementations.
- Education: BS Engineering (Telecom/ Computers/ Communications and Information/ IT)
- Excellent technical knowledge of telecom concept, processes, and solutions.
- Good understanding of service provider’s business and information systems.
- Domain experience: area of expertise - Business Support Systems, in specific Charging System, with proficient in Protocols (SS7, Camel, Diameter)
- Cloud and virtualization knowledge is a plus.
- Demonstrable experience in leading consulting, pre-sales, and solutions implementation of end-to-end telecom business solutions.
- Exposure to Ericsson Sales Process -is a plus
- to lead complex Digital Services Project sales engagements and solutions partner qualifications and management is an advantage.
- Consultative behavior, business driven and self-motivated.
- Excellent people & customer management skills.
- Fluent in written and oral English communications.
- Technology certifications are addons (eTOM, TOGAF, ITIL)
- Experience from technical job roles, e.g., experience from work as an Integration Engineer or Software Developer.
