**Responsibilities**:

- Manage all activities relating to safe and efficient operations of all Transmar owned and chartered vessels
- Manage all activities relating to sourcing, negotiating, and delivering volumes on third party: Main Line Operators and Feeder Vessel Suppliers
- Manage the timely and cost-effective movement of all Transmar controlled volumes between varying shipping origins, transshipment locations and destinations in our service portfolio
- Ensure schedule integrity across the network
- Manage cost-effective bunkering for all owned/chartered vessels
- Ensure safe and efficient loading of all cargo on the respective vessels to ensure berthing windows and health & safety are not compromised
- Develop strong relationships with all Agency’s and Egyptian port operators to ensure efficient and open communications is in place for best in class operational execution
- Maximize the utilization of all vessels and routes by proactive communication with the Commercial teams and reduction of need for repositioning
- Manage all equipment owned, leased, and lease/purchased to ensure the optimum equipment mix and high levels of utilization across the fleet
- Ensure adequate, cost effective and timely maintenance of all equipment within the fleet
- Propose opportunities to increase/decrease equipment levels to meet the growing needs of the business
- Ensure continuous improvement on all operational activities and suggest improvements to tasks to increase ROI and remove waste/cost in operations
- Deliver a suite of Management Dashboards demonstrating all aspects of Transmar Operations
- Provide a full disaster recovery and emergency contingency plan for all Transmar operations and update relevant SOP’s

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in operational posts
- Strong awareness of shipping within The Red Sea & The Gulf
- Strong awareness of the Egyptian shipping and port market
- Experience of Adabiya is a clear advantage
- Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in Logistics)
- Training in shipping, transport, or logistics industry (optional)
- Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel & Power Point)
- Experience of relevant shipping ERP systems
- Experience of MS BI, Salesforce CRM & Shipnet ERP is an advantage
