We are currently seeking a **Senior Full Stack Developer **to join our **XCR - Xcelerator Container Runtime Team** in **Cairo, Egypt**.

As an experienced Full Stack Developer, you will have key responsibilities in defining, planning, implementing, and operating automated infrastructure and processes that meet or exceed the service level and CI/CD objectives.

In this role, you will create and maintain globally deployed IaaS environments that meet service level agreement; support the resource requirements of the development, QA, and customer value realization teams; enable CI/CD; meet compliance and best practice standards; and are well documented. They will participate in, and sometimes lead, proof of concept and first of a kinactivityes to validate product concepts.

**Main Responsibilities**
- Provide engineering leadership to a global platform team that's tasked with building, operating & maintaining a global Multi-cloud container runtime platform.
- Develop and maintain highly scalable, efficient, performant & resilient capabilities, meeting availability targets of 99.99%
- Implement and maintain CI/CD tools, services, processes to support development, QA, and customer value realization teams.
- Deliver improvements to source code management, deployment, operations, maintenance, cost control, security, monitoring, and audit tools and processes.
- Constantly strive to reduce toil and deliver capabilities that enable Siemens DISW to maintain competitive advantage in the marketplace.
- Drive security & operational best practice across the team, ensuring platform meets compliance requirements for ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR, PII and other regulatory or legislative requirements.
- Ensure the production environment is operating in accordance with established procedures and best practices. Provide escalated support for high severity and critical network events
- Provide thought leadership, coaching & mentorship to the platform teams, fostering a positive enjoyment working environment and enabling the team excel in their field.

**Required skills, knowledge and experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or a related technical field.
- Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) services, including ECS, EKS, S3, VPC, Lambda, Networking, and IAM.
- Proficient in networking and security threat models, demonstrating advanced knowledge.
- Advanced skills in shell scripting, including sh/bash/ksh.
- Extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of LINUX operating system and the open-source ecosystem.
- Demonstrated expertise in system automation for highly scalable environments.
- Extensive background in system administration, including troubleshooting, support, mentorship/training, and oversight.
- Proficient in the design and implementation of GitOps processes.
- Capable of adopting and expanding continuous integration and testing processes, preferably with experience using GitLab-CI.
- Advanced proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.
- Familiarity with cloud monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Cloud-ability, or equivalent.
- Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
