**Role Purpose**:

- Support a customer focussed “single point of entry” towards NSE for all IP connectivity demand related requests from VF-Networks (Group and Local Markets) and its affiliates. Managing all kinds of demand requests from major projects to minor configuration requests.
- Work with the customer to define their requirements fully and unambiguously, so that they are fit for purpose and ready for the delivery of a design solution against them.
- Establish and run a fair, balanced and transparent demand management process for prioritising all IP demand requests coming into NSE_CCE, with the customer at the centre (internal and customer-focussed governance).
- Provide consultancy services to the customer and manage the delivery of the demand throughout the process.
- Proactively manage customer communications, providing them with feedback and status updates on their requirements. Support the Senior Demand and Delivery Manager in managing escalations up to senior management level.
- Work to establish the demand management role within the wider NSE International areas and maintain a close relationship to the customer and stakeholders in this space.
- Work collaboratively with other NSE areas, leading the virtual team for consultancy and early design and demonstrating a leadership role in delivering Customer demands.

**Key Accountabilities**:

- Impact on the business- Manage and support the prioritisation of projects and demands requiring further implementations into Network and Office IT technology areas.
- Responsible for the scoping, sizing and tracking of all NSE demand requests, as well as “project managing” them through to closure.
- Ensure customers follow the NSE demand management process. Ensuring transparency within the process and making it SIMPLE for the customer to use.
- Responsible for the managing & prioritisation of Local Markets or International resources (i.e. horizontal and or vertical teams).

Customers, supplier and third parties- Build a community of Stakeholders in support of the NSE customer i.e. contacts in the OpCos, Group Functions and Internationally.
- Own the interface towards NSE customers.
- Work with the customer to define their requirements fully and unambiguously, so that they are fit for purpose and deliver a solution against this.
- Provide continual updates and feedback to the customer on their demand/project.
- Manage escalations and find solutions / compromises for customer issues.
- Identify new customer “Product” requirements which could be developed in the DEMAND Portal for International Connectivity.

Leadership and teamwork- Project-manage strategic NSE initiatives; leading a NSE virtual team from the Concept stage through to Solution Design and Implementation.
- Foster and promote great team work between all suppliers within NSE, and in other relevant Vodafone Global Technology Operation departments.
- Demonstrate leadership in respect to the NSE customer interface, up to senior management level.

Innovation and change- Drive innovative opportunities and influence the technical solution to problems.
- Promote the approach to be taken for all OpCo, Central NSE units and International entities.
- Drive efficiency, standardisation / industrialisation and “productisation” within NSE.

Knowledge and experience- Demand Management knowledge and strong experience in supporting medium scale projects.
- High level of Project Management experience.
- Broad technical knowledge of Telecom Networks especially IP, Services and IT especially data center of office IT.
- Advanced knowledge of Vodafone’s organisation, infrastructure, processes and strong experience of managing cross-functional teams in a virtual set-up.

Communication- Manage and ensure regular, clear, confident, verbal and written communication with customers and internal suppliers for all NSE requests.
- Able to network, influence and persuade stakeholders (be it internally, externally and team suppliers/verticals).
- Escalate or influences upwards, problems requiring a decision or where processes need to be questioned, changed and improved.

**Technical / Professional Expertise Essential**:

- Background in mobile and/or fixed network technology (design, implementation and roll out of services).
- Broad Technical ability in Telecoms (knowledge of Transport and cross-functional (IP) services desirable).
- Proven Project Management capability.
- Very good understanding of business processes and needs.
- Multi-national experience preferred.
- Very good communication skills.
- Comfortable working with all cultures.
- Very good organization skills.
- High analytical skills.
- Language skills: English and Spanish advanced
