About the Role

This role reports to the Senior DevSecOps Engineer, and is based in Cairo, Egypt. We’re looking for someone to join our team immediately.

**What you’ll do**:

- Build and maintain cloud infrastructure security, compliance, performance, and resilience controls
- Build and maintain secure Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) processes
- Automate and codify supporting security systems in all phases of the SLDC
- Test for security vulnerabilities and conduct risk assessments
- Assess software and infrastructure architectures, designs, and implementation for security vulnerabilities and suggest and implement proper mitigating controls
- Build and maintain a set of tools that enable developers to self-serve their security needs
- Collaborate on developing processes that support security and compliance requirements across the company
- Build and maintain security monitoring, auditing, and reporting frameworks that produce key risk indicators (KRIs)

**What we’re looking for**:

- 1+ years of development/operations experience
- 1+ years of security experience
- Background in Linux administration
- A working understanding of code and scripts in PHP and Python
- Experience with AWS security is a plus
- Experience with Kubernetes and Containers security is a plus
- Experience with RDBMS
- Fluent in English and Arabic

Qualifications
**What you bring**
- 1+ years of development/operations experience
- 1+ years of security experience
- Good knowledge of cloud security best practices
- Background in Linux administration.
- Strong knowledge of the full web stack.
- A working understanding of code and scripts in PHP and Python.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to build rapport and form alliances
- Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services.
- Experience with AWS security is a plus.
- Experience with Kubernetes and Containers security is a plus.
- Experience with RDBMS.
- NoSQL, Graph, Key/value data storage knowledge is a plus.
- Experience with message brokers/queues is a huge plus.
- Able to approach problem logically, research options, avoid biases and focus on meaningful data to draw the right conclusions
- Communicate effectively and timely as needed through different media
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Self-motivated, proactive, driven individual
