**Job summary**

**Mission**
- Responsible for the direction and coordination of all underground field labor, subcontractors and the placement/use of equipment and construction materials;
- Accountable for the efficient and effective day-to-day construction of the underground project following the overall construction methodology;
- Maintaining effective working relationships with trades people, subcontractors, suppliers and client who may be present on the site.

**CANDIDATE PROFILE**

**Education and Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering;
- 15+ years of experience during the underground construction phase of Oil & Gas projects;
- Strong knowledge in reading and understanding civil underground construction plans, drawings and specifications.

**CORE WORK ACTIVITIES**
- Overseeing and supervising daily construction activities at work site, including scheduling of workers, delivery of equipment and materials and progress of the project;
- Working with contractors to complete project within the given budget and time schedule;
- Resolving contract disputes and arranges any necessary order changes;
- Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices and procedures;
- Relying on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
