We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accountant to join our finance team and oversee all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and compliance at QwK. As an Accountant at QwK, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of our financial records and processes, with a specific focus on Egyptian accounting, finance, and tax regulations and law

**Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in accordance with Egyptian accounting standards and regulations.
- Ensure compliance with Egyptian tax laws and regulations, including the timely and accurate preparation and filing of tax returns, VAT filings, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax authorities during financial audits and tax inspections, providing necessary documentation and support to ensure compliance and resolve any issues.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance metrics, variances, and trends, and provide insights and recommendations to management for improving financial efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement internal controls and procedures to safeguard company assets, mitigate risks, and ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Stay informed about changes in Egyptian accounting, finance, and tax regulations and laws, and proactively advise management on potential impacts and implications for QwK.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting and finance roles, with a strong understanding of Egyptian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with experience using financial management software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate financial information to non-finance stakeholders.
- Proactive mindset and ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
- Fluency in Arabic language is required.
