Technical Trainer

Participate in preparing the detailed plan within the factory in coordination with the senior
technical trainer.
Supervise the practical training in companies/factories.
Facilitate and encourage a practical learning experience that provides students with the
opportunity to achieve their potential.
Adopting and working towards the implementation of the school development plan.
Following and evaluating the teaching and learning strategies, methodologies and programs in
line with the school guidance.
Attending and participating in school meetings, technical education meetings, and other meetings
as required.
Contributing to the professional development of new Junior Technical Trainers according to
arrangements agreed with the Head of Department.
Evaluating student progress regularly, including progress reports and quarterly grades.
Providing or contributing to oral and practical assessments, reports and references relating to
individual students or groups of students.
Prepare a daily and monthly report to be presented to the Senior Technical Trainer.
Participate with the factory in the practical examination process of the student at the end of each
competency.
Participation in the preparation of training frameworks.
Participation as lecturers and trainers at the VTC.

Job Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/electrical/electronics/logistics engineering or
Industrial Education
Years of Experience:
2:4 years of experience
Basic training or teaching experience is a plus
Language: Good skills in the English language
Computer skills: Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, SolidWorks.
