In this crucial role, you'll:
- Guarantee accurate and timely payment of salaries for all employees, ensuring everyone receives their hard-earned compensation without a hitch.
- Go Beyond Salaries: Handle off-cycle payments with precision, ensuring smooth processing and timely delivery.
- Master of Transfers: Prepare bank transfers and uploads for salaries and other manual payments with meticulous accuracy and efficiency.
- Accounting Ace: Ensure proper posting of all processed payments to the accounting system, maintaining a clear and accurate financial record.
- Eagle-Eyed Auditor: Conduct daily audit checks on critical information types, safeguarding data integrity and catching any potential discrepancies.
- Reconciliation Rockstar: Perform employee reconciliations and generate standard reports, keeping payroll operations running smoothly.
- Manual Magic: Create manual bookings when needed and assist Accounting Operations with regular reconciliations, including ledger balances for withholding tax, loans, and other payroll-related accounts.
- Finance whiz: Participate in Finance & GL reconciliations, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.
- HR Project Partner: Collaborate on HR projects impacting payroll processes, actively seeking ways to improve efficiency and best practices.
- Communication Champion: Coordinate with various operating units, streamlining the submission of periodic reports and remittances/payments to external parties and government agencies.
ARE YOU A FIT?
- 1-2 year of experience in Accounting/ Human Resources.
- Strong Analytical skills and detail oriented.
- Strong Time Management Skills.
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Able to work in cross functional teams
- Ability to act proactively to anticipate any issues linked to legal changes and take necessary actions within deadlines
- Take initiatives to learn more about business, processes, legislation to efficiently perform day to day payroll activities. Keen on learning and acquiring knowledge of systems.
