**Description**

**Job Purpose**

IT Project Manager who takes accountability for delivering the desired programme / projects business results within time, budget, scope and quality. They are responsible for managing and implementing all aspects of programme / project scope through the whole lifecycle from requirements ananlysis and scope definition all the way until solution implementation and product launch. They are responsible for effective communication with programme / project sponsors, key stakeholders, business owners, technical teams, suppliers, and delivery partners.

Key Accountabilities & Activities
- General
- Defines and implements the overall programme / project, structure and approach, including the time plan, interdependencies and key success factors.
- Manages multiple teams to achieve the intended business outcomes.
- Manages suppliers to ensure solutions’ delivery.
- Manages the internal and external interdependencies.
- Manages changes in direction, scope, costs and timing.
- Manages risks and issues.
- Defines, implements, and manages proper communication and governance to ensure effective reporting and communication are in place.

Programme / Projects Management
- Works closely with business owners to understand business requirements and strategies.
- Identifies, plans and coordinates a set of projects in line with the business strategies.
- Plans, directs, and co-ordinates activities to manage and implement programmes and complex projects from proposal initiation to full solution and capability implementation.
- Applies the appropriate programme and project delivery methodologies according to the software life cycle standard including business analysis, design, capacity planning, infrastructure implementation, solution implementation, integration, technical testing, user acceptance and releasing to production environment.
- Manages technical teams to ensure delivery of solutions on time and with the required quality.
- Plans, schedules, monitors, and reports on activities and ensures effective governance.
- Judgment on key indicators to detect and act to bring a challenged project back on track.
- Promotes continuous improvement through retrospectives and team learning.
- Builds long-term, strategic relationships with senior stakeholders (internal and external) and ensures ongoing communication to understand and agree what will meet their needs.
- Leads demand management for one or more business calendars including Commercial, Finance, HR, Customer Careetc.
- Builds relationships with suppliers and service providers and effectively manages them throughout project lifecycle.

**Qualifications**

**QUALIFICATIONS_ESSENTIAL**
- In depth knowledge and experience of all stages of the project and programme lifecycle.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Experience of delivering complex projects in a multi-vendor environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both verbal and written).
- A good understanding of the stakeholder political pressures on projects.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Be able to think holistically and analytically and to know when to take which approach.
- Be capable of visualizing a problem context/situation, develop several resolution options and think them through from concept to implementation.

**QUALIFICATIONS_DESIRABLE**
- Knowledge and experience in HR, Finance, DWH business domains is a plus
- Telecom experience is a plus
- Agile knowledge and experience is a plus
- Project Management certification is a plus

**EXPERIENCE_ESSENTIAL**
- 4+ years of experience, at least 2 of them in project management
- IT Project management experience is a must

**EXPERIENCE_DESIRABLE**

Experience in Project Management Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills
