**Required Clearance to Start: SECRET**

**Responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:

- Design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance.
- Develop course curriculum, develop training modules and instructional materials for technical training programs.
- Coordinates class arrangements, conducts training classes, and develops criteria for evaluating training effectiveness. Assess needs to determine training material content.
- Keeps abreast of information technology training needs, trends, methods, new materials and techniques.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **3+ years **of qualified instructor experience and a bachelor’s degree in a related field (OR) **7+ years **of qualified instructor experience and an associate degree in a related field (OR) **9+ years **of qualified instructor experience.
- Must have an **Army Basic Instructors Course (ABIC) **(or) an **Instructors Systems Development (ISD) **certification.
- Proven maintenance, repair and technical experience and background in commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance.
- Experience in providing instruction and training. Military or civilian formal certificates of training and instruction in maintenance-related field.
- Proven communicator in verbal and written disciplines to include basic computer skills and document preparation.
- Ability to develop course curriculum. Have experience in maintenance, repair and technical experience and background in commercial maintenance or military operations or maintenance.
- **Ability to successfully pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening.**:

- **Ability to meet the government deployment physical requirements, if needed.**:

- **High School Diploma or GED.**

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Prior training or maintenance experience on MRAP FOV systems preferable.
- Preferred areas of commercial or military experience may be with heavy duty trucks, tractors, ground systems, or any diesel or gasoline powered equipment or vehicles.
- Willingness to travel to hostile areas is desired.
- Willingness to travel to various US or OCONUS locations.

**Security Clearance Requirements**:

- Must have an active ( **DoD) Secret **clearance.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and knee.
- Must be able to push, pull, and reach.
- Must be able to work in high noise areas.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs and small parts.
- Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
