**Project Background**:
EGA is a five-year activity (2020-2025) funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of the bilateral agreement between the Government of Egypt (GoE) and the United States. This project, which is implemented by DAI Global LLC, supports the investment climate in Egypt through enhancing economic governance and promoting administrative and institutional development in line with Egypt’s Sustainable Development Strategy (SDS) 2030, National Anti-Corruption Strategy 2019-2022, and the Administrative Reform Vision of Egypt. In doing so, the project supports the efforts of the GoE to enhance the quality of public administration through adopting more inclusive and efficient tools that ensure the needs and priorities of citizens and the private sector are reflected, thus promoting a positive investment climate in Egypt.

**Key Tasks**

The Policy Analyst will perform the following tasks in his/her area of assignment.
- Support the drafting of various project documents such as concept notes, briefs, reports, policy briefs, and action plans.
- Conduct research in the field of governance as requested.
- Support the implementation of events with counterparts (workshops, conferences, webinars, sessions).
- Prepare scopes of work, PowerPoint presentations, summaries and memos as requested.
- Support in reviewing and suggesting amendments to training material and PowerPoint presentations.
- Assist in steering and following up on the work of local and international consultants who will be supporting the project to implement the agreed upon activities with the counterparts.
- Ensure the use of different knowledge management tools to share, document and transfer knowledge within EGA.
- Collect data needed for the implementation of activities.
- Support the provision of the necessary and accurate information and data to EGA MEL Manager and provide the necessary support for MEL purposes.
- Support the drafting of quarterly and annual progress reports.
- Remain regularly updated on the status of governance in Egypt.
- Perform any additional relevant tasks as requested.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree required in political science, public policy and administration, economics, communication, international development, or any related field. Master’s degree in the same fields is preferable.
- Minimum three years of experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent reporting and writing skills.
- Strong communication skills - both written and oral - in English and Arabic.
- Experience working with agencies of the Government of Egypt on policy reform issues is desired.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
