Senior Draftsman

Ensure the efficiency and accuracy of drawings to Projects.
- Support the Engineering Department and Business Units in securing new work for the company by producing schematic 2D and 3D drawings and proposals.
- Execute storing and printing drawings and data, produce geo reference images, and provide other departments ad hoc with needed documentation.
- Liaise with other Business Units to obtain clear specification.
- Developed efficiently and timely the necessary drawings from concept to Handover stage.
- Create detailed CAD 2D and 3D drawing for on-site work.
- Efficient in these software’s: Auto Desk Civil 3D, AutoCAD 2D and 3D, 3D rendering, 3D Max, Lumio Pro, TEKLA structures, Sketch Up, MS Office.
- Capable to work and deliver under pressure. To support projects ensuring draughtsman allocated to those provide the adequate quality and performance;
- To assess, preselect and mentoring the new coming Junior draughtsman and draughtsman to ensure adequate competency.
- They are constantly improving their skills with training and keeping themselves up to date with the latest development on their software’s and respective training.
- Continuously look for and suggest ways to improve the process of preparing drawings.
- Other duties requested by management in support of teamwork as & when required.
- This is a generalist view of a Job that you have been assigned for — at times you may be requested to do above/beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirements

Job Requirements

Educational Qualifications & Certifications;
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in AutoCAD Draughtsman or Equivalent Professional qualification

Function specific experience
- Business process and workflow design, functional requirements definition, functional design and on-going business analysis and communications.
- Strong knowledge of Analytical and calculative skills.

Industry related experience
- Knowledge of Dredging/Civil Marine industry preferable

Years of experience
- 10 years of related work experience at medium to large enterprises preferably in Dredging, Oil and Gas or Marine industry.
