**Skills**:

- Proven experience as a Computer Security Specialist.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++ and PHP.
- Familiarity with security frameworks like the NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
- Hands-on experience with patch management, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems (e.g., TippingPoint).
- Understanding of public key infrastructure (PKI) and cryptographic protocols (e.g., SSL/TLS).
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and threats, such as SQL Injection, XSS, and Session Hijacking.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Review source codes manually and also using automation tools like SonarQube to identify vulnerabilities, and write code to fix.
- Analyze IT specifications to assess security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Design and implement safety measures and data recovery plans.
- Act on privacy breaches and malware threats.
- Serve as a security expert and conduct training sessions.
- Draft policies and guidelines for security protocols.
- Defend systems against unauthorized access, modification, and destruction.
- Configure and support security tools such as firewalls and anti-virus software.
- Define access privileges, control structures, and resources.
- Perform vulnerability testing, risk analyses, and security assessments.
- Identify abnormalities and report violations.
- Oversee routine security administration.
- Develop and update business continuity and disaster recovery protocols.
- Train fellow employees in security awareness and procedures.
- Design and conduct security audits to ensure operational security.
- Respond immediately to security incidents and provide post-incident analysis.
- Research and recommend security upgrades.
- Provide technical advice to developers regarding security vulnerabilities.
- Lead incident response efforts in the event of security breaches or incidents.
- Conduct forensic analysis to determine the root cause of incidents and prevent recurrence.
- Provide cyber security awareness training to employees to promote a culture of security awareness.
- Offer guidance and support to developers on secure coding practices and threat mitigation techniques.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards pertaining to information security.
- Stay updated on emerging threats and regulatory requirements to proactively address compliance issues.
