**Requirements and responsibilities**

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Develop, test, and maintain all APIs
- Manage and maintain SQL and No-SQL tables, data, and stored procedures within all databases.
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- We are collaborating with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive code to enhance the user experience and support analytical products.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose production issues.
- Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
- Take the lead on projects as needed.
- Jump in and help the team deliver features when it is required.
- Balance technical debt vs. feature development vs. supporting customers.

**Requirements**:

- Sr Java Dev (3 years +)
- Java Web, experience with Java Messaging Services is a plus ( JMS)
- Kafka
- karaf
- Spring Core, Spring batch, and Spring boot are a plus
- Queueing services: RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ
- Mongo DB
- OSGI is a plus (big plus)
- Experience with Vue JS is a plus
- JavaScript experience (1 year plus)
