**Role Purpose**:
To support Vodafone’s key strategic growth areas in Testing which requires a highly capable and passionate resources for specialized domains as Digital, IoT and Cloud Transformation.

The Selected IoT Test Specialist must have a great attitude. He / She should bring to organization good technical skills with the changing technologies.
Must have good level of independence, so that he / she can take ownership of the task allocated without too much supervision. And should be a technical SME in his area, he/she will be consulted in complex technical problem and investigation (Automation, L&P tools, DevOps Basic Knowledge that support Test Environment setup, configuration and maintenance, capable of trouble shooting and understanding solution architecture and solution development code structure)

**Roles and Responsibilities**:

- Review business requirements and define scope of testing.
- Create Test Strategy and test plan documents for the projects.
- Test effort Estimation and align on the project's timelines
- Support the team in understanding the project scope, and resolve complex technical problems
- Support in Automation, L&P Strategy, and drive test automation advancement in the project
- Monitor team members’ progress.
- Conduct closure & quality reports (Final test report...etc.)
- Review high level scenarios for the projects.
- Execute critical areas in the projects with the team.
- Act as a point of contact for the customer regarding project risks, dependencies, and any technical discussion.
- Handling escalations, risks and dealing with stakeholders wisely.
- Manage defect triage meeting with the product owner/ solution architect.
- Coach and mentor the team members.
- Support the team in achieving their goals.
- Review career plan with the team members every quarter.
- Report KPIs related to manual and automation testing coverage, Defect leakage rate and defects rejection rate for the Projects.
- Work closely with Automation/performance testing to validate End-to-End Test Coverage.
- May lead multiple projects.
- Define automation scope within the projects.
- Propose external trainings needed for testing team.
- Contribute effectively to the process improvement.

**Core Knowledge and qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or any related technical field.
- +5 Years hands on experience on Testing Execution.
- Proven hands-on experience with Agile Delivery.
- Strong knowledge and experience in testing methodologies like integration, UAT testing etc.
- Good Knowledge on SQL is a must.
- Good knowledge in Agile Scrum.
- Excellent knowledge about ISTQB foundation in software testing is a must.
- ISTQB Foundation Level Certificate in Software Testing is a must.
- Working experience in dealing with test management tools like JIRA, ALM (Quality Center).
- Experience in performance/security testing is a plus.
- Experience with testing Web APIs.
- Previous experience in test scripting using any automation tools.
- Ability to identify and explore new testing frameworks.
- High sense of ownership and responsibility.
- Ability to achieve excellent results with mínimal supervision.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Possessing good communication skills with the stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication & presentation skills in English (both written and spoken)
- Ability to work on multiple challenging projects.
