BISC was established in 1976 and has a reputation as one of the most successful schools in the Middle East. We teach boys and girls aged 2-18, with the majority of our students from Egypt, and our school's mission is to be a vibrant international community that promotes independent learning to develop global citizens.

We are based on a purpose built, state-of-the-art campus, 30 minutes West of the city centre. We are surrounded by high quality housing and facilities, though the hustle and bustle of downtown Cairo - and the pyramids - are not far away and easily accessible.

We follow the British curriculum, with a track record of academic success as well as a strong focus on pastoral care. We are an active IB World School, a member of COBIS and BSME, and thus the school provides a holistic education in a supportive and caring environment. We are a non-denominational school, and we welcome students from all faiths and traditions, embracing the principles
