Requirements and responsibilities

**Job Description**:
You will be contributing, as an active member of the DockMaster development team, to help deliver quality software components. You may need to work with the business to clarify detailed software features and requirements. Will work to ensure the software deliverables have passed quality gates using available/appropriate tools. Actively participate with DockMaster team in daily scrums and participate/follow Agile process.

Job Requirements
- You must be someone with a keen attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience with quality assurance testing of a complex business system.
- Ability to interpret and discuss technical information with a non-technical audience.
- Ability to lead/coordinate with other members of the QA team.
- Ability to work on multiple projects.
- Demonstrated ability to learn new technology and software quickly.
- Very good written and oral communication skills.
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum teams preferred.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and TFS/GIT preferred.
- Experience with Perform testing.
- Assist level two support technicians with all end user beta testing of software releases.
- Analytical and critical thinking; able to see like a customer.
- A thirst for constantly exploring emerging technology.
- Experience with automated testing using 3rd party tools, Ranorex experience a plus

Technical skills/experience
- Develop, execute, and maintain test plans, test scenarios, test cases and test scripts
- Perform front end and back-end testing.
- Document and evaluate test results and defects, track and manage defects with the development team and business units to troubleshoot issues.
- Manage software’s backlog and effectively document bugs reported by support by documenting steps to reproduce bug for the development team.
- Maintain traceability of business requirements through test plans and test cases.
- Familiar interacting with REST API endpoints using tools like Postman.
- Familiar with automated testing tools
- Demonstrates willingness to learn, take-up challenges and Self-driven.
- Able to breakdown activities into well identifiable tasks and efficiently adapt to technological environment.
- Perform testing for multiple projects and software releases, including integration, systems, regression, performance & end user acceptance testing.
