**Job Overview**:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) Specialist to join our team. As a GRC Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that our company complies with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. You will also be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks to our organization and implementing effective governance processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and implement GRC policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities within the organization.
- Create and maintain a risk register to track identified risks and their mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure that all business processes are in line with GRC policies and procedures.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on GRC policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of GRC initiatives and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and best practices and make necessary updates to GRC policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits to assess compliance with GRC policies and procedures.
- Assist in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as needed.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in GRC, compliance, or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Experience in developing and implementing GRC policies and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Relevant certifications (e.g. CISA, CISSP, CRISC) are a plus.
