Payroll & HR Analytics Specialist

**Job purpose/ mission**:

- The Payroll and HR Analytics Specialist will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while driving data-driven decision-making through the creation and maintenance of HR dashboards. This role will play a key part in leveraging HR data to enhance organizational insights, support digitalization projects, and streamline payroll processes. Reporting directly to the Compensation & Benefits Lead, the Payroll and HR Analytics Specialist will contribute to operational excellence and strategic HR initiatives.
- Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

- 1. Payroll Administration
- Process monthly payroll for all employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Maintain and update payroll records, including employee salaries, benefits, deductions, and bonuses.
- Address payroll-related inquiries and discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll accounts and ensure accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including tax filings, social insurance, and other obligations.

**2. HR Analytics and Reporting**
- Develop, maintain, and enhance HR dashboards to provide actionable insights into key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, diversity, absenteeism, and employee engagement.
- Conduct regular and ad-hoc analysis of HR data to identify trends, support workforce planning, and inform decision-making.
- Prepare and present HR analytics reports to leadership, ensuring clarity and relevance to business objectives.
- Collaborate with HR teams to identify data needs and improve data collection processes.

**3. Participation in Digitalization Projects**
- Support the implementation and optimization of HR digitalization initiatives, including Human Capital Management (HCM) systems and other HR technologies.
- Act as a key point of contact for digital transformation projects, ensuring payroll and HR analytics requirements are incorporated.
- Provide input on system upgrades, process improvements, and data migration activities.
- Train HR team members and other stakeholders on new tools and systems to ensure successful adoption.

**4. Data Integrity and Compliance**
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll and HR data by conducting regular audits and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintain confidentiality and security of employee data, adhering to data protection regulations.
- Document payroll and analytics processes, creating standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance.

**5. Collaboration and Support**
- Work closely with the Compensation and Benefits team to ensure alignment on payroll-related matters, avoiding overlap with compensation and benefits administration.
- Provide analytical support for talent management, succession planning, and other HR initiatives.
- Partner with the IT and finance teams to align payroll and analytics processes with broader organizational systems.

**6. Continuous Improvement**
- Identify opportunities to improve payroll processing efficiency through automation and process optimization.
- Stay updated on best practices in HR analytics and payroll management, incorporating new tools and methodologies where appropriate.
- Proactively suggest enhancements to dashboards and analytics reports to address evolving business needs.
