ABOUT THE ROLE:
As Shift EV’s senior maintenance engineer, you’ll join the manufacturing technology team in ensuring that all the plant machinery and equipment are functioning properly and to high performance standards, you’ll be responsible for setting the process and the execution of predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as upgrading the machinery with features tailored to our needs, specifically you will:

- Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
- Set the process for the tracking, storage and protection of tools and equipment and provide execution guidelines.
- Qualify service providers to provide on-call emergency repairs or preventive maintenance.
- Revise maintenance contracts for all plant equipment and ensure correct documentation.
- Study machines & equipment manuals to perform the required service.
- Create the preventive maintenance process and guidelines.
- Plan and execute the preventive maintenance for all equipment.
- Perform & follow up on daily inspections and TPM.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.
- Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.
- Perform root cause breakdown analysis.
- Handle installation of electrical controls and power circuits.
- Upgrade the machines with the needed functionality, safety, improvement, and data acquisition requirements.
- Perform machine control troubleshooting.
- Set technical specifications for all spare parts needed.
- Follow up on the manufacturing and procurement of special spare parts or components for the different machines.
- Plan, monitor and control machine spare parts consumption.

YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechatronics, mechanical or electrical engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working with laser equipment (cutting, marking, welding).
- Experience working with pneumatic machinery and equipment.
- Experience working with automated production lines is a plus.
- Proficiency in 2d drawing using AutoCAD & in 3D drawing using solid works or any equivalent 3d program.
- Lean six-sigma / RCA / Analytical problem solving skills.
- Good knowledge in PLC, wiring diagrams & Electrical Drives is a plus
