Principle Websphere Adminstrator

**Advansys** is on the lookout for a talented **Principal WebSphere Administrator** to join our innovative team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the WebSphere Application Server environments, optimizing performance, ensuring high availability, and implementing best practices for configuration and security.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the installation, configuration, and administration of WebSphere Application Servers across multiple environments.
- Monitor and optimize WebSphere environments for performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Implement, configure, and maintain WebSphere clusters for high availability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for installation processes, procedures, and policies.
- Manage security configurations and access controls for WebSphere environments.
- Stay updated on the latest features and capabilities of WebSphere and recommend improvements.

**Requirements**:
**Experience**:

- 8+ years of experience in WebSphere Administration or a similar role.
- Proven expertise in WebSphere Application Server installation, configuration, and performance tuning.
- Strong experience with WebSphere clustering, failover, and load balancing.
- Good knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python, Ant) for automation.

**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

**Technical Skills**:

- Familiarity with IBM HTTP Server and WebSphere Liberty profile.
- Experience with database integration and transaction management.
- Understanding of Java EE technologies and related frameworks.
