**Job Description**:
As a Software Engineering Manager focused on security research and development, you’ll be leading the research and development of complete MVPs and operations of security products; shaping the development team, product lifecycle, software and infrastructure architecture and how code is transitioned from development to operations. This position will report to R&D Senior Manager

Key Responsibilities:
Lead team members and be accountable for the team’s execution.

Liaison with Product managers on development of platform features, end-user impact and business value
Coordinate and manage epics of work and project manage them through completion in an agile way.

Manage the performance of productivity of the team.

Understand the interdependence between software, product and infrastructure requirements and coordinate work between them.

Lead and facilitate communication between team members to achieve the best results.

Supervise technical and non-technical execution of team members.

Own implementation of full security products MVP from scratch in different programming languages (C++,.Net, Java, PHP, Python,..etc.)

Modify existing software to add new features, correct errors, allow it to function in new operating environments, or improve performance.

Comply with project coding standards and industry best practices.

Organize and collaborate on a shared code base, in a team environment, cooperating with co-located and remote team members.

Participate heavily in planning for software development projects and ensure high level features are concluded according to the planned delivery dates.

Anticipate possible technical problems based on prior knowledge.

Balance technical debt, quality and speed of development according to business needs

Provide guidance and technical advice to the team on areas of experience.

Design and implement infrastructure to operate security MVP products in a way that ensures fast iterative development using devops principles.

Write documentation, analysis, and technical full reports.

Contribute to the review of internal processes and activities and assist in identifying potential opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications:
7+ years of software development experience

1+ years people management experience

Experience in leading complete engineering teams is a must

Experience in measuring and tracking code quality

Excellent understanding of software engineering concepts

Experience in software solution and architecture design

Identify performance problems and write modular/scalable code

Can see the big picture and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Research new technologies and present findings

Compare pros/cons based on researching problems and decide on a solution that best matches a situation

Experience in agile software development project management

Break down epics into milestones and roadmaps

Produces high accuracy output work with keen attention to details.

Excellent understanding of the full web and mobile stacks

Juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of their deadlines
