**Your responsibilities**:

- Reporting environmental incidents, providing feedback on lessons learned and best practices from both own unit and across, ABB, to management and employees, reporting progress on the implementation of ABB Group sustainability objectives and KPIs (key performance indicators) for the ABB Group, as required
- Implementing world-class waste management system at ABB Premises, implementing policies and standards, ensuring the area of responsibility is audited, assisting line managers and supervisors in understanding obligations, liabilities and role fulfillment, according to local environmental laws as well as Group and business-specific requirements
- Facilitating environmental risk assessment by line management of shop floor employees, i.e. those directly affected by hazards and ensures all processes are implemented, driving behavioral change through the local implementation of Group-wide performance improvement programs and practices
- Embedding an exemplary health and safety culture, as well as a strong focus on the environment, throughout the respective organization, engaging external stakeholders (e.g. customers, suppliers, relevant authorities) and internal stakeholders to report on, raise awareness of, gain commitment to and obtain objective feedback on ABB's environmental efforts and performance
- Cooperating with other functions and business partners to drive environmental performance, ensuring that the appropriate equipment and tools are available and used, identifying, planning and initiating training needs, eg, for employees, site managers
- Driving and ensuring compliance with group management systems, contributing to and/or plans and executing environment-related projects, developing and reporting on project objectives, managing project resources such as staffing, financials and other relevant factors

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering
- Undergraduate (4th year)
- Good communicator on various levels and very good presentation skills, detailed oriented
- Fluency in English language is mandatory
