**General Description**:
Responsible for leading a team of video editors throughout the editing process, maintaining
overall awareness of the team's actions, producing high-quality sports-related content for a
the sports media company, and ensuring the finished product meets the client's expectations.

**Goal**:
To produce high-quality sports-related content that engages audiences and enhances the
the reputation of the sports media company, and satisfies the needs of clients and stakeholders
while creating a positive and supportive work environment for the team.

**Duties, Tasks, and Responsibilities**:

- Receiving a brief and assembling raw footage
- Digitally cutting files to assemble the film's sequence
- Overseeing the quality and progress of audio and video engineering and editing
- Managing a team of video editors to produce sports-related content
- Developing and maintaining project timelinesCollaborating with other departments to ensure that the editing process aligns with the overall vision for the project
- Leading the development of creative ideas and concepts for sports-related content
- Staying up-to-date with the latest trends and techniques in video editingManaging relationships with sports teams and leagues
- Taking quality notes and documenting work
- Responsible for editing various events and creative video projects
- Handling multiple projects per week and dozens of projects per month
- Being ready for on-ground tasksAnalyzing complex problems and offering solutions
- Supporting team members and covering them when needed

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in film production, video editing, or a related field preferred.
- **5+ years** of Video Editing experience, including 1+ years in a leadership role.
- Proficient in English and video editing software.
- Experience producing content for online platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, and other websites.
- A clear understanding of the client revision process and the ability to work through revisions.
- Ability to handle multiple, multi-week-long projects simultaneously.On-site work capability.
- Excellent leadership skills, motivating team members to achieve goals.
- Extreme attention to detail, spotting errors or inconsistencies in the process.
- Ability to work in Windows and Apple environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, building positive relationships with team members, stakeholders, and those in the sports industry.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, troubleshooting technical issues, and finding solutions.
- Strong portfolio of sports-related video editing and storytelling work.
