Role

You ll be working with an education company, therefore creating engaging content for learning and development is what we do. As a Content Creator within the Media team, you ll be supporting the Sales & Marketing team and the Product development team. We have a separate team that assists with writing our educational and marketing content, copywriting and creating the high quality learning content for our online courses. Your role will mean transferring the content into high quality digital formats.

You ll be working closely with the Head of Sales & Marketing and the Content & Communications Manager and have the chance to create video, audio and visual content for a wide range of webinars, events, and courses for our company. You ll be working closely with the media team to co-produce first-class educational materials and marketing collateral.

You ll be delivering high-quality audio and visuals for our company. With solid digital design skills, you ll be able to flawlessly switch between producing content using different platforms such as WordPress, Canva, Woocommerce, Audacity, In video, OpenShot, Filmora, Animoto, and other online applications. You ll need to be a fast learner, adapting to use new online applications for your design work.

Responsibilities

As an education company, creating high-quality audio, visual and video content is extremely important to us. In addition to your key strength or specialist area, you ll need to be an all-rounder working collaboratively within the media team.

You ll be involved in:

  • Creating online content for our core audiences; young people, parents, teachers, and corporate organisations.
  • Creating educational youtube videos and animations
  • Editing videos that have been recorded at live events and workshops
  • Adding intro & outro music, templates, and logos to videos and podcasts
  • Creating video animations to promote an event or new course
  • Creating viral videos and educational content for young people, parents, and schools
  • Editing audio content including podcasts and creating an audiogram to promote the podcast
  • Updating our WordPress website and adding items on woocommerce
  • Editing online course videos and uploading them to various platforms
  • Creating cover images and designs for lead magnets, webinar promotions, podcast promotions
  • Editing and updating pop-ups and sales landing pages
  • Creating course pages and webinar promo pages
  • Working with course creators to build excellent course content and ensure that their courses, templates, videos, and images are in line with our brand guidelines
  • Creating engaging content for our online courses, social media, blogs, digital ads, newsletters, and external PR
  • Assisting with other tasks to meet the company s mission and vision

Results

  • Create outstanding content and templates, and follow our brand guidelines, including appropriate images, videos, texts, and fonts
  • Continually collaborate with the Product, content & media team to share new content ideas and identify the key topics and content that we need to communicate to our audience.
  • Improve on our content creation processes and marketing techniques
  • Continually ensure that the video, audio, and visual content is to a high standard.
  • Explore and develop video content opportunities
  • Build skills within the company by attending external courses, running internal training & development courses, and supporting other staff to grow within the organisation.

Requirements

We ll consider candidates that:

  • Have a passion for content creation - visual, video and audio
  • Have great attention to detail
  • Have 1-3 years of experience with content creation is a plus
  • Can work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment, always thinking ahead about content requirements
  • Can work collaboratively within a team and can demonstrate strengths within the media team
  • Are interested in learning new tools and building their skills (we don t expect you to be a master in all areas)
  • Have experience in using online software and applications such as WordPress, Canva, Woocommerce, Audacity, In video, OpenShot, Filmora, Animoto, and other online applications that may be part of your day to day activities within the organisation
