Job Description - Swiftly responding to all emergent situations and offering requisite aid. You will also be prepared to participate as a member of the Emergency Team in instances of accidents, fires, oil or chemical spills, or any other incidents transpiring within the project site or its immediate vicinity.
- Undertaking a spectrum of tasks and engagements integral to safety obligations pertinent to the construction endeavor.
- Conducting comprehensive safety inspections across work zones, furnishing valuable insights to supervisory personnel concerning identified safety hazards, instances of safety rule violations, and generating safety inspection reports for the HSE Lead.
- Advising supervisory staff on the judicious selection of suitable personal protective equipment for the workforce.
- Initiating investigations into injuries arising from work-related contexts. This involves tracing patterns, conducting meticulous investigations, addressing breaches of safety protocols, and providing multifaceted solutions. These solutions may encompass enhancing communication practices, augmenting training initiatives, revising work methodologies, or considering the utilization of alternative equipment.
- Maintaining meticulous records of all conducted inspections and investigations, encompassing both fire and safety-related aspects.
- Collaborating in the delivery of training sessions targeted towards company personnel, with an emphasis on health and safety considerations.
- Chairing the preliminary phases of accident investigations.
- Conveying and elucidating pre-job safety talks to ensure that all team members are positioned in secure roles.
- Extending assistance and furnishing guidance to investigation teams in cases of emergencies or incidents, functioning as the technical authority at the incident site.
- Keeping abreast of the latest legislation and safety standards relevant to the construction domain.
- Extending specialized advisory insights in matters of safety to the project team and offering guidance on essential modifications.
- Providing hands-on guidance and contemporary insights to project staff, visitors, and other users of the construction site.
- Offering guidance and educational support to new personnel or individuals undergoing training within the project ambit.
- Completion of a college degree in "Science or Engineering" faculties.
- Age not exceeding 30 years old.
- Successful completion of Safety specialist basic training by Egyptian NIOSH, OSHA Construction 30hrs, NEBOSH IG certified
- Have experience of 3:5 years of construction Experience , firefighting experience, either in the public or private sector, with at least two years of supervisory experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge of local safety laws and regulations.
- Familiarity with international standards of safe work practices applicable to the industry.
- Adeptness in understanding work-related injuries and the investigative process required to determine their causes.
- Ability to effectively working at heights and confined spaces.
- Capability to work in challenging environments, including hot and dusty conditions, and situations with high noise levels.
- Extensive knowledge in conducting investigative procedures and preparing detailed report-writing.
- Possession of a valid driving license for light vehicles.
- Strong communication skills in both English and the local language.
- Capacity to remain composed under pressure and direct others during emergency situations.
- Certification in first aid and CPR.
- Professional in using Power point , Excel and Microsoft office is a must .
- Good written and verbal skills in Arabic and English.
