Job Description

Danone MENA is looking for a talented Communications Coordinator - MENA to be based in Cairo, Egypt like you

In the context of Specialized Nutrition MENA, you will be part of the General Secretary (GS) Department and working with the Communications Manager for internal and external communication, coordinate and manage internal and external activities and work across internal functions and divisions to ensure consistent approach to the management of communications within the global Danone policies.

Key Responsibilities:

A- Internal Communication

  • Support on internal communication platforms while managing internal stakeholders for efficient communication for the MENA region
  • Conceptualize and implement internal communications plan that inspires and builds employee ambassadorship,
  • Coordinate regional communications and work with global teams on key annual projects like Danone Day, Danone People Survey, Organizational Announcements, Inclusive Diversity, World Quality Day, Above & Beyond Program, Danone Way
  • Develop strong PowerPoint presentations to visually report on events

B- External Communication

  • Liaising with media/PR agency for press events and materials as needed
  • Coordinate on LinkedIn articles and strategy on external Danone MENA announcements
  • Develop Danone MENA brand storytelling in relation to the Danone Behaviors, HOPE values, sustainability topics in accordance to the Danone mission

C- Event and project management

  • Manage projects against defined project plan
  • Coordinate the logistics for internal events and manage against defined project plans (Annual Conference, Town Halls, Danone Day, etc)
  • Manage internal stakeholders
  • Manage budgets related to the event

D- Danone Website management

  • Monthly maintenance of the content for the Danone MENA corporate website
  • Provide quarterly stats on performance

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:

Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in communications or equivalent degree
    • 1 to 2 years' experience in a communications role is a strong plus

Languages:


• Fluent in written and spoken English & Arabic, French is a plus

Skills:

    • Photoshop / InDesign (basic knowledge advantageous)
    • Mastery of Powerpoint, strong Word and Excel skills
    • Digital/social media planning and activation
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills
    • Excellent written and verbal and presentation skills
    • Strong editing and proofreading skills

Personal Attributes:

    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Influential communicator

Mobility:
Candidates should be open to move within the region or outside the region with Danone in 3-4 years if such an opportunity will arise which will contribute to his/her career grow.
