Job Description

What you get to do in this role:

  • SmartOps developers at ServiceNow are working on designing, building, testing and supporting industry-leading solutions in Retail sector that makes the world run better with AI and data analysis.
  • Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.).
  • Develop services in Java, running on K8S, to make data and video streams flow from thousands of retail stores to the ServiceNow cloud.
  • Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
  • Help design and implement new products and features while also enhancing the existing product suite
  • Work with a multi-cultural team in a large corporate environment.
  • Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role you have:

  • 4+ years of experience with Java frameworks.
  • Experience with data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations.
  • Analytical and design skills.
  • Design and develop REST APIs and micro-services.
  • Knowledge for docker, containerizing service and CI/CD.
  • Knowledge of kafka and grpc is a plus.
  • Computer Scince or relevant.
  • Fluent English Speaking.
