Role Purpose
  • Ensure transparent financial management in all 2 North Africa affiliates (NA MU) while complying with IFRS, local GAAP, and Beiersdorf internal controls.
  • Take direct ownership of Commercial Finance & SOI management in Egypt, overseeing the consolidation of the 2 affiliates and reviewing North Africa MU SOI KPIs.
  • Join the NA Leadership team, contributing as a key business partner to execute the business strategy.
Your Tasks

Commercial Controlling:

  • Lead all MU planning, forecasting, and reporting processes.
  • Guide the NA organization during official forecast planning with a focus on quality and adherence to timelines.
  • Analyze financial data to drive planning, decision-making, and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on efficiency and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Partner with the commercial team to enhance value chain optimization and Gross Margin % development.
  • Ensure compliant trade investments planning and tracking by sales controlling teams.
  • Work with Supply Chain Controlling COE and sales teams to enhance overall working capital efficiency.

Financial Controlling & Accounting:

  • Partner with the financial controlling team to ensure GE numbers align with plans and expected KPIs.
  • Ensure monthly closing numbers meet plans and expected KPIs.

Marketing Budget Controlling:

  • Collaborate with AME Marketing controlling team to align marketing budget KPIs with SOI KPIs and strategic priorities of NA.
  • Regularly review marketing budget investment KPIs by category with NA Leadership team.

Leadership:

  • Actively participate as an Africa Middle East Finance Leadership member, building a strong finance organization and nurturing talent pipelines for Africa Middle East.
Your Profile
  • Certified accountant with over 10 years of finance experience in the FMCG industry, including 3 years in leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen, preferably in distributor management and brand marketing.
  • Finance qualification with certified accountant credentials (CPA / CMA / ACCA etc.).
