What you'll do

  • Help create value for the finance organization by designing efficient solutions to drive operational efficiencies,

compliance with company policies, and thereby reducing risk of material financial reporting misstatements.

  • Supports and participates in the compilation of accounting policies, procedures & (work) instructions; ensuring

compliance to ICS and IFRS. Monitors and controls that they are followed based on monitoring process.

  • Reports and documents ICS compliance process, ensuring documentation and consistency thereof (up to incl Audit
  • Committee of Finance and of the Supervisory Board).
  • Perform risk assessments at various levels in the company
  • Keeps the Internal Control Framework updated for relevant changes in the company
  • Administration of the annual Internal Control certification process.
  • Represent Internal Controls in selected Audit & Risk Committees
  • Participate in system and project implementations which have Internal Control implications.
  • Work closely with different levels of management and business process owners to ensure key controls are timely
  • identified and embedded in the process, tested, and operating effectively.
  • Monitor and advice process owners on action plans for remediation of deficient controls on a timely basis.
  • Participates in the accounting integration of new acquisitions (PMI) to ensure their compliance to group policies &
  • Provides compliance guidance & support (training, maintains Internal Control portal, ICS tooling, supports compliance teams and maintains ICS helpdesk.)

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • Professional with extensive knowledge in internal control. Deploys local regulation and corporate policies,

manages tax compliance, and advises businesses.
