Objective:
The goal of this consultancy is to assist MOSS in integrating the SBC approach into its programs to accelerate positive societal changes including enhanced parenting skills, women's agency, and child well-being.

- Cost-effective programming: A unified SBC approach will optimize resource allocation and streamline programs.

- Data-driven decision-making: Integrating SBC indicators and real-time data collection will enhance program effectiveness.

- Support and facilitate coordination between MOSS & UNICEF CP and SBC.

- Coordination regarding MOSS child protection case management services at various levels including north Sinai.


Terms of Reference: The Field Coordinator's role is crucial in leading the implementation of UNICEF's support for MOSS, focusing on scaling successful initiatives and ensuring the sustainability of the SBC approach within MOSS.

Key Responsibilities include:
  • Project Planning and Management.
  • Communication and Coordination.
  • Technical Expertise.
  • Monitoring and Evaluation.
  • Supervision and Reporting of Positive Parenting Training.
  • Follow-up and Reporting on the RapidPro Platform.
  • Scaling-up and Sustainability.

Activities, Deliverables, and Timelines:
Main Activities:
  • Oversee all UNICEF – MOSS program activities for CP & SBC.
  • Support the strengthening of the MOSS IMS system including mainstreaming of SBC indicators.

To qualify:
  • Master's degree in social sciences or a relevant field, or a bachelor's degree with 10-20 years of experience.
  • Extensive experience in developmental projects showcasing success in various areas including M&E, Child Protection, Awareness raising, Advocacy, Governance, Education, and Health projects.
  • Proven ability in overseeing RBM based implementation plans and excellent presentation skills.
