Social Worker

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Knowledgeable of Social Work principles and standard practices.

· Effective oral and written communication skills.

· Knowledgeable of community resources.

· Able to work with people of all social, economic, and cultural backgrounds

· Flexible, open-minded and adaptable to change

· Demonstrated ability to connect patients and families with appropriate services

· Training in Crime Victims Compensation and Rights.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENT:

· Must be a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of employment. Must have a Master's degree from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

· Must possess one year of social work experience in a hospital setting.

· EPIC, Allscripts experience, must work 2 weekend per month

· Must be capable of making independent decisions relevant to client's needs.

· Must be capable of prioritizing and handling multiple tasks of critical importance simultaneously.
