Location: Cairo, Egypt

Term 1: July 1 – August 15

Term 2: August 16 – September 30

Your role:

The purpose of the Internship Programme is to work within commercial functions across our main business clusters. During one of the 7 weeks assignments you will gain hands-on work experience as the foundation of professional life. Based on your education, skills, and aspirations, consider one of the tracks:

  • Services: You will join the team that offers service & customer support to local hospitals and health providers along with service experts that provide global support, training and customized solutions.
  • Sales Operations: Learn how to develop, maintain and drive continuous improvement of the relations with existing and potential customers. Support the Account Managers in achievement of business goals with presenting improvement projects and new supporting processes.
  • Project Management: Assist the project team in managing and supervising administrative, technical, and financial aspects of assigned projects. Ensure to meet quality requirements and deliver on time and to budget.
  • Finance: Support the management of Philips Egypt in driving and growing business value, to help set and achieve financial and strategic targets and ensure financially sound decision making. Together with the team you will monitor the financial position of the market, identify risks and opportunities to current financial projections and takes corrective actions where needed.
  • Personal Health: You will contribute to the creation, positioning, promotion, and selling of cutting-edge products that impact the lives of consumers, while gaining firsthand experience in bringing innovations from concept to market.
  • People Function: We put people at the heart of everything we do. Within North Africa People function, you will work on initiatives with a real impact, supporting several HR projects (e.g. data analytics / reporting / talent reviews / employee engagement / organizational culture).
  • Logistics: You will be supporting the regional team in end-to-end logistics sourcing activities with the goal of ensuring that we are attracting and selecting the best suppliers and delivering the best Philips experience to our Customers.
  • Commercial: Acquire your commercial skills as you navigate on-the-job learnings provided to you as well as give insights towards the dynamic markets that you delve upon. You will get to work on providing competitive analysis and in-depth market knowledge to drive our growth in the North Africa.

You're the right fit if:
1. You're currently studying towards your Bachelor or Master degree
2. Based in Cairo and able to attend office during the whole period of internship (either July 1–August 15, or August 16–September 30)
3. You are fluent in English
4. Demonstrating customer-oriented mindset.
