NSCE Egyptian Legal Advisor Expert: CoC Management – GIZ - “Technical Support for the Comprehensive Technical Education Initiative”. Details Deadline: 27 August 2022 Location: Egypt Organization: North South Consultants Exchange (NSCE) Sectors: TVET – Agribusiness Sector – Hospitality/Tourism sector Job type: Contract Languages: English C1, Spoken Egyptian Arabic, Written modern standard Arabic C1 Description North South Consultants Exchange (NSCE) is recruiting a National Legal Advisor Expert for the GIZ-“Technical Support for the Comprehensive Technical Education Initiative”. The initiative contributes to the implementation of the Technical Education reform (TE 2.0) of the Egyptian Ministry of Education and Technical Education (MoETE) by developing two Centers of Competence (CoCs) in the Agribusiness sector and the Tourism/Hospitality sector. Work Packages WP 1: CoC governance structures WP 2: TVETA master trainers and CoC personnel are capacitated WP 3: Preparing the CoC for training implementation WP 4: Development and implementation of a concept for CoC network

Specific Tasks Serve as resource persons for legal questions regarding the development, governance, and management of a CoC in Egypt Key Qualifications Education/training: a university master’s degree in law Language: All experts with knowledge of written modern standard Arabic C1 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages, spoken Egyptian and English C1 General professional experience:10 years of professional experience as a practicing lawyer in Egypt Specific professional experience: 5 years of professional experience in education or public-private partnership law in Egypt Regional experience: All experts with 3 years of work experience in MENA Skills Team skills Initiative Communication skills Social and intercultural skills Efficient partner- and client-focused working methods Interdisciplinary thinking Duration: The duration of the project will be 28 months with the estimated end date in March 2025. Estimated level of effort for the position: This position is short-term. The level of effort for the position is ca. 100 expert days divided between the Legal Advisor and Financial Advisor.
