Job Description

Our client, a vibrant digital marketing agency is looking for a dynamic Paid Search Specialist ( Japanese Speaking ) to join their award-winning Digital Marketing team.Reporting to the Vice President of Paid Media, this role takes charge of individual client accounts, ensuring they not only meet but surpass performance goals. Your responsibility extends to holding vendors, partners, and reports accountable for delivering outstanding client results.Key Responsibilities:Formulate and implement creative paid strategies and media plans to fulfill client objectives, with a focus on the Japanese market. Lead ongoing optimization efforts, including daily IO management, campaign budgets, on-site conversion actions, bid management, and keyword strategies tailored for the Japanese audience. Conduct continuous research, expansion, and optimization of keywords, keeping cultural nuances and preferences in mind. Supervise tracking and reporting on campaign results, performing ad hoc data analysis with a specific focus on the Japanese market. Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in paid search and/or paid social, with a significant portion of that experience focused on the Japanese market. In-depth knowledge of performance media practices, especially in paid search and/or paid social, with a proven track record of success in the Japanese market. Advanced proficiency in search marketing applications, tools, web analytics, and management software, with experience in the Japanese digital landscape. Ability to discern trends and extract key insights through data analysis, applying this knowledge to the Japanese market. Strong reporting and analysis skills, showcasing results achieved in the Japanese digital marketing space. Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets, with a focus on Japanese language keywords and data. Exceptional communication, analytical, and organizational skills, including fluency in Japanese. Candidate Characteristics:Expertise in paid search, paid social, and programmatic display, with a deep understanding of Japanese consumer behavior. Comfort with both quantitative and qualitative analysis, with a keen eye for cultural nuances. Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English. Adaptability in a dynamic environment, understanding the unique challenges and opportunities within the Japanese market. Possess a growth mindset, self-motivation, and a thirst for self-education, staying abreast of the latest trends in Japanese digital marketing. Eagerness to pioneer new techniques and contribute fresh ideas to the team, specifically tailored for the Japanese audience.
