Music Teacher

Job SummaryElm is looking to hire a qualified Music teacher (part time) to support teaching within the curriculum and assist in musical performances.General DutiesThe working day is 8 am – 4 pm so that teachers are in school at least 15 minutes before the start of the school day for children, and are available after school for meetings. Dependant on the Key Stage, teachers normally have a teaching timetable of around 70-75%, depending on subjects and levels taught, and other responsibilities. We aim for all teachers to have a good amount of non-contact time during each day. Teachers are expected to do playground and lunchtime duties, on a rota basis. They may also be required to cover for absent colleagues.All teachers are expected to communicate with the students in English at all times, except in language classes.ELM International School, Alexandria is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
