Job Requirements

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A degree specifically focused on architectural engineering or materials science is advantageous.

Professional Experience:

  • Proven track record (typically 3-5 years) in estimation and costing within the construction or manufacturing industry, with specific experience in aluminium and glass projects preferred.
  • Experience with estimating software and tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, CostX, or similar programs.
  • Familiarity with industry standards, building codes, and regulations related to aluminium and glass installations.

Technical Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in quantitative analysis, cost estimation, and material take-off processes.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and technical documents to accurately estimate project costs.
  • Knowledge of different types of aluminium profiles, glass types, and their applications in construction.
